FAQ
FAQ
1. Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, it has undergone irritation testing for both normal and sensitive skin types, and it has been confirmed as non-irritating, so you can use it with confidence.
2. Which skin types are best suited for this product?
This product works well for Oily, Combo, and Dry skin. Its hydrating formula is mild and suitable for all skin types. We recommend checking customer reviews, as results may vary, and doing a patch test on your wrist before using it on your face.
3. Is it sufficient for cleansing on its own?
If you're only wearing sunscreen or no makeup, the charcoal cleansing foam works perfectly on its own. For makeup or stubborn impurities, we recommend double cleansing with an oil-based cleansing balm first.

I like this more than I thought I would. PRO: It doesn't take much and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry at all. Removes makeup very easily. It's a great value for me as it's about half the price of my regular brand. The CON (if you want to call it that) for me is that it doesn't "foam up", like my usual brand does, but I'm getting used to it. I'm starting to prefer this.I don't think it's a "5 star", but it feels inadequate to give it 4. . . I'd say 4.5
This does lather quite nicely and quickly even with not a lot of water. Usually, lightweight cleansers don't do too well with my oil heavy skin and i prefer something stronger to get squeaky clean but this does a really good job at getting rid of face oil on my acne prone skin. It doesn't quite get super squeaky type of clean but that keeps the skin decently moisturized without drying it out too much so I think its a decent balance. It cleans off completely so nothing gets stained black
I'm game for finding a makeup removing cleanser that doesn't leave my skin dried out. And a Korean formula is always a plus. This Activated Charcoal Hydration Cleansing Foam comes out dark gray, like charcoal, but it foams up nicely and doesn't stain like charcoal. And when the instructions say "small amount", they mean it -- meaning this 5 oz tube will last a long time. I'm not sure how HA and ceramides would make a big difference in a cleanser (rather than a moisturizer) since they're only making contact for a minute or so, but maybe they are why my skin feels "hydrated" after using this product.
I have very sensitive skin and wanted to try out this charcoal cleanser as it mentioned being safe for sensitive skin. The color is lighter than I anticipated, but it lathers up and applies well. I feel that it works well. My face looks great after using, feels good, and it doesn't appear to dry my skin out. Most importantly, I haven't had any sort of skiin reactions to it.
